Robotics team testify to bring Convergence Insufficiency awareness

Bringing awareness for Convergence Insufficiency (CI),  Kevin Skorupa, Steven Chapman and Jared Martin, testified on January 30, 2018 to the Michigan Senate Health Subcommittee in support of Senate Bill 411. The purpose of this legislative effort is to create a better way within the Michigan schools to identify children with “hidden vision problems” that can interfere with reading and learning, such as Convergence Insufficiency (CI). These young men did an excellent job of not only explaining the problem, but the impact that CI has on the student, since it was one of their very own CW Tech Robotics Team members who suffered with CI. To learn more see Vince’s story which was previously posted here on the VisionHelp Blog.

Kudos to the CW Tech Robotarians in their efforts to help end the senseless struggle of vision problems that impact children’s lives.
