We normally associate this topic with children who have developmental reading issues. But a very well done article in the current issue of the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology addresses this from the standpoint of acquired reading difficulties, with emphasis on aging, brain injury, and stroke rehabilitation.
I’ll be lecturing about this topic this weekend, in addition to other clinical issues at the Calgary Vision Event organized by Drs. Charles Boulet and Debbie Luk. Dr. Curt Baxstrom will be joining me together with Drs. Yves Savue and Peter Shaw. Interest in vision therapy in Canada is growing by leaps and bounds!
