NORA and The Advancement Of Sciences Award

What a pleasant surprise, and honor, to be bestowed with The Advancement Of Sciences Award from NORA at their Awards Luncheon this afternoon.

It reads:  This award is presented to the individual, group, agency or organization that has provided a unique and valued contribution to the science of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation.  It may include but not be limited to clinical investigation, scientific discovery, public awareness, publication or research.

Many thanks to the NORA Board – Drs. Curt Baxstrom, Susan Durham, Tracy Ammann, Susan Daniel, Carl Garbus, and to Council Members Jenny Garbus and Nova McNally, for their hospitality and collegiality this weekend.  I share this Award with my professional and personal support systems – our staff at Family Eyecare Associates; colleagues too numerous to name individually; and my wonderful family – anchored by our principal cheerleader and my partner in so many ways, Miriam.

  3. I am honored to be sharing our lives in Optometry with you and Miriam. You share your knowledge and techniques with all of us. Lenny, you shared your heart with each of us when you traveled to Atlanta. Thank you for all you do, and I look forward to all of the adventures ahead sharing and growing Neuro-Optometry together.
