Congratulations to our colleague in Israel, Robert Lederman, O.D., FCOVD, for his presentation on Monday at the Jerusalen Inernational Brain Conference on Neuroplasticity and Cognitive Modifiability. Entitled “The Appliance of Science: Affecting Neural Change through the Visual System”, his presentation was described in the program as follows:
This fascinating presentation will enable the participants to observe changes in visual performance as evidence of neuroplasticity. This will be aided using video documentation from a sample of case studies.
In light of the pervasive nature of vision in human consciousness, the critical importance of modifying both visual-motor and visual processing skills to enhance human cognitive and motor performance will be explained.
The principal components for creating opportunities to maximize neuroplastic change and their application in affecting the greatest change in visual performance will be discussed.
