Our colleague, Dr. Dominick Maino, continues to do a wonderful job with his blog, Maino’s Memos. He shares a strong interest in 3D vision, and has timely information on his blog.
Here is a video of a presentation by Dr. Jim Sheedy, a colleague at the newly formed Vision Performance Institute at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.
The slides for Dr. Sheedy’s presentation, along with several of the other presentations at the March 2011 conference presented jointly by the 3D@Home Consortium and the AOA can be found here.
At the end of his presentation Dr. Sheedy references a conference held at PUCO in June. The titles of the presentations can be found here.
Dr. Maino, quite an accomplished photographer himself, follows the blogging autostereoscopic photograhic artist Almont Green. Dr. Maino co-authored a nice article on asthenopia and technology with Christopher Chase, Ph.D.
Lastly, the AOA recently put out an nice press release on 3D as it relates to education.
