Nice job by Transitions Optical with their new website, eye Didn’t Know That! They are explicit about what a screening misses as opposed to a comprehensive eye examination. Emphasis is placed on the role of vision in learning, and issues with attention and fatigue are among the signs that a comprehensive examination is indicated. It is good to see the “Eye Promise” oriented toward adults, and linked with a literacy initiative, to reinforce the relationship of vision to reading. There is a nice version of the website in Spanish as well.
